It was a beautiful morning when my brother, Jayden, and I were enjoying playing video games in the room and suddenly the doorbell rang.
“Ding Dong!”
“It’s Uncle Tim!” Excitedly, we ran down the stairs, eager to be the first to reach the door. However, there is no sign of Uncle Tim at the door but a small brown box.
Uncle Tim is a famous magician and he is always busy performing all over the world. He promised to visit us today in the morning to celebrate my birthday together but he hasn’t shown up.
Seeing how disappointed I looked, Jayden comforted me although he was disappointed as well.
“Don’t worry. Uncle Tim will be here soon. He never breaks his promises.”

“Come on, let’s continue playing game,” said Jayden, while trying to pull me back into the house. Suddenly, my attention was being caught by a moving object on the floor. Wait… The box is moving!
“AAAHHH!”
Screaming at the top of my lungs, my eyes widened in horror. I dashed into the house, blindly, like a cheetah. Jayden then realized what had happened and performed the same thing I had done. However, he had left the door open!
“Why didn’t you close the door?” I shouted at him.

But there is no time left, the box is moving towards us and it is getting closer. Jayden and I hugged each other and we were trembling. The box is getting bigger and bigger when it approaches us. When I closed my eyes and thought that something horrible was going to happen, a familiar voice came out of nowhere.
“Surprise!”
Opening my eyes with fear and shock, a familiar face began to come into my sight.
“Uncle Tim!”
Happily, I hugged the man with a top hat in front of me. It is the man I have been waiting for for the past few hours! It turns out that everything was just a birthday surprise for me. It was just Uncle Tim hiding someplace while performing magic tricks all the time.
It was, without a doubt, the most memorable birthday I have ever had. I was amazed and terrified at the same time and I believe that this is the best birthday surprise that I have ever gotten.
